On 7 and 8 May 2024 it was held in Brussels the European Cluster Conference, attended  by over 750 participants.

The European Cluster Conference 2024 aimed to highlight the vital role of clusters in advancing EU industrial priorities. It seeks to engage stakeholders in discussions on ongoing Commission initiatives, collecting feedback on 2024 priorities and encouraging bottom-up actions.

In addition to the Conference two important activities contributed to make the event dynamic and exciting: the exhibition with 70 clusters giving visibility to their projects and the matchmaking, with 526 meetings in presence held. The event gathered round participants of all types to foster innovation and its spillover across different industrial ecosystems, including both private companies and public procurers.

ETRA attended  and actively took part to these activities establish 29 good contacts with persons / projects / organisations interested to RE-PLAN CITY LIFE project and to future co-operations.

The event raised awareness about the role of clusters, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, and stimulate debates on clusters’ possible actions to shape the future of the EU Single Market.

Tyre Recycling is a transversal Industry that operates with various players from many different sectors, looking for new collaborations as Replan Community is doing.
