Organised by Hub Brussels in cooperation with European Enterprise Network, the E²tech4Cities Brokerage event 2019 dedicated to Energy & Efficiency Technologies for Cities was held on 20 June at the Hub Brussels facilities. The programmeaddressed those who are working on innovative projects who are looking for potential partners.
The event also offered the opportunity to participate in the co-programme, E²tech4Cities Pitch session 2019, to look for financial investors. By applying to the pitch session, 6 companies had the opportunity to be selected to present their project idea to a panel of large corporations and financial organizations as potential investors.
Besides the brokerage opportunities all day, NCP Brussels delivered a Horizon 2020 Workshop to go through a series of Horizon 2020 topics addressing health, energy, transport, bio-based solutions and actions for more inclusive and secure cities.
Last but not the least, in connection with the above event, the Brussels exporters day 2019, offered to Brussels-based companies, the chance to meet economic and commercial attaches from around the world.
ETRA participated in several very interesting meetings with representatives from African and Asian countries with Belgian Embassies, that will start opening new opportunities for dialogues with local governments and bodies.
